Where is located the IR cut-off filter in the BLIP2 platform? In the lens or directly on the sensor? And is it glued or removable?
Thanks in advance,
IR cut-off filter will be present in the lens. The IR cut-off filter option needs to be chosen while purchasing lens.
BLIP2 platforms doesn't ship with an IR cut-off filter lens.
I am not sure whether the filter is removable or not from the lens.
Thank You & Regards,
Hi Sudheer and thanks for your answer,
I already have a BLIP2 board and to make some test I changed the lens with one with a mechanical IR filter.
As i don't see any difference in the image when the filter is on/off and as I don't see the filter on the lens, I was wondering if it was possible that it was applied directly on the sensor.
I don't know if "IR filter" term was misleading, but I meant the filter that is usually put on every camera to block out IR light and see "normal" colors.

Hi! Now I understand
I was expecting a much more big difference but (as i'm testing it indoor) the pinkish hue is the sign that there's no ir filter!
