What I'd like to be able to do is turn on the AD9371 receiver channel so that data is written to a ring buffer, and then access that memory using an mmap. On the AXI DAC HDL Linux Driver page, it lists a sys/bus/iio file, out_altvoltage0_1A_raw, which is written to to enable the DAC. However the AXI ADC HDL Linux Driver page doesn't list anything like that, so I'm not sure what is required to enable the receiver. What would be the minimum setup, though the Linux Driver interface, that would configure the AD9371 to receive on one or both channels and DMA it into memory?
As a secondary question, what is the format of the ring buffer? Are the 16 bit I and Q samples concatenated into a 32 bit word and written, or written as adjacent 16 bit numbers in memory?
