How to remove equalizing pulses (pre equalizing,equalizing and post equalizing pulses) from composite sync .
Refer :Figure 1 in EL1881 datasheet. for CSYNC and other pulses.
I would like know what is the ADI Video chip part that you are using? I could not find any details in your post.
Also please mention that do you have one of our evaluation board and did you verify the issue in one of our evaluation board and observe same behavior in output results?
I am using EL1881 as SYNC separator.
First of all the EL1881 is not an ADI part so we really cannot comment on how it operates. This thread seems to be related to another thread recently posted about sync pulses present in RGB signals but using discrete syncs to decode.
So there a couple of ways to handle this
1) RGB decoders probably don't care about sync pulses in the analog signal. They'll just use the discrete syncs for their timing and decoding.
2) If you absolutely must get rid of the sync pulses in the analog signal then you can use the EL1881, a little logic and an analog switch to mux in either 0.3V during the blanking regions or the active video during the video regions.
