I am working with the ADSP-SC584 EZ-Board developing a TCP Client application. I am seeing occasional retransmitted TCP packets from the server side (as seen from Wireshark). I see these more often when debugging vs. when booting from flash but still present. I received the following release note with the kit:
"Gigabit Ethernet Errata: Disconnect the emulator (ICE-1000 or ICE-2000) from the debug connector on the target board when running Gigabit Ethernet applications connected via J4 to avoid occasional CRC errors."
What are the sources of this error and is there an easy way to determine if this is the source of my issue? I will be developing my own board and would like to know if there is a way to fix this.
I am using the following:
ADSP-SC584 EZ-Board 1.1 BOM 1.6
uCOS-III 2.4.0 - ADI Port
lwIP 2.4.0 - ADI Port
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
