I'm using an AD7192 in a strain gage application. I have a 5V analog supply, 3.3V digital supply, external 4.915200MHz crystal.
The DO/RDY* pin never appears to signal a Ready condition. Over the SPI, I am able to reset the part, read and write the registers. I have configured the part to continuously convert at 50Hz and I am reading at this same rate (currently timed internally by my microcontroller).
The attached image shows the DO/RDY* pin high whenever the CS* is not active (even when the Status register indicates that the part is/was in a Ready state). I have a 100K pull-up on the DO/RDY* line, the SYNC* input is tied to the digital supply.
I have tried another part (both with a 1512 date code).
