DSP selection for a CSI sensor battery device

Hi there,

currently we are developing a battery supplied device for image processing. We use a camera sensor with CSI and need to collect, process and store the data with a DSP, MCU or MPU. We thought of using a DSP, i.e. the Blackfin BF-707, for this job. The first question: Is the Interface PPI compatible with or convertable to CSI? Both use data lines and sync signals.

Other Requirements:

- 1,8V I/O
- 300 to 500 MHz
- I2C, SPI
- GPIO (at least 20)
- Interrupt controller
- real-time
- USB
- intern/extern RAM 2 GB

Would the BF-707 suit to our device? Or does somebody have a better idea in mind?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Kevin
