Hi I wanted to use GPIO3p3v as aux DAC control using osc GUI but no matter what value I put in, the GPIO3p3v pin seems not turning on or value not changing at all. I am using arria10 soc + AD9371 eval board. See picture attached.
This used to be working before - looks like the API driver used to call it implicitly.
With recent updates - Now we need to do it separately.
Fixed with this commit: iio/adc/ad9371: Fix Aux DAC setup · analogdevicesinc/linux@fe4978b · GitHub
Thanks for pointing out.
Moving to FPGA subspace.
Moved to Linux Drivers
The advanced plugin is really only there for setting defaults.
Changes may only take affect if you hit the save button, which then reconfigures the device from reset, which may take quite some time.
You should be using the runtime IIO API, to interface with the Auxiliary DACs
Please see here:
You can also use the DEBUG plugin to set these values from the GUI.
We tried the plugins and API but it does not seem working. For the Osc GUI, yes we clicked "save setting" but it seems the voltage always reads 0v.
Can we use register setting instead?
Thanks Michael for the new check-in, now if I used osc.exe gui and set the auxdac it works. I can see 3.3v now!!!
I plan also to use GPIO3_3 to set up my ext attn(part of my AGC table) for my custom board. Would the check in also enable me to setup ext ant(GPIO_3p3_x_) based on my AGC?
