Loading Debug code on target hardware

I am runing Visual DSP++ 5.0 and I want to load code through a USP-ICE to a JTAG port  on my developed hardware with a Blackfin 537 processor. The code works fine on an ADSP-BF537 EZ-KIT Lite development board but my hardware has a different SDRAM configuration. The IDE loader doesn't load my data files into external ram correctly but if I run my program, which has an init for the SDRAM, and halt it just after my init sdram code I can manualy load my data files into external ram. How can I change the development environment so its loader can configure and load my ram correctly?
