I got a question and I hope that you can help me: I'm trying to find a solution for the following problem: I want to develop a led driver with the following specifications:
U_fv=3,1V (20 LED's in a string->Vout ca. 63V)
P_out about 50W
The problem are the high currents and ripple currents in the input capacitors when I have an AC input. Therefore I had the idea to smooth them with a darlington transistor. My other idea is to use a PFC, which rises the voltage to 80V or more and drives a buck converter, which drives the LED's. It's very hard to find an IC which works in this voltange range. Does analog offer a IC which I can use?
