I m interested in using AD9361 as a radar transceiver. Do you have any example or references documents related to the application?
libiio and the IIO framework implement are used to capture or transmit data only. They do not implement support for specific data processing algorithms. This is typically done in applications that are build on top of libiio. In your case you probably have to implement the algorithm that fulfills your requirements.
You might be able to find some example GNURadio projects that implement radar, e.g. like GNU Radio Radar Toolbox | gr-radar: GNU Radio Radar Toolbox.
We do not have a radar application specific reference document, however if you provide some more technical requirements for your application we will be able to provide guidance (frequencies, timing, power levels etc...).

I have the same question too. i have a zc702 and fmcomms3, now i want to use the fmcomms3 as radar transceiver. The signal to be transmited is chirp signal. The carrier frequency is 2.4GHz. All i want to do is to transmit the signal and get the response, then analysis them to get the moving obejct infomation. I am the first time to use zc702 and fmcomms3. Can iio oscilloscopse do this work? if it can, how to set those parameters?
