AD9523-1: how to transmit a LVDS output to another board?

Dear support,


in my design an AD9523-1 is involved as clocks generator and distributor.

In particular, two of those clocks, a 10MHz and a 100MHz square-wave, have to be transmitted to another board over a 1meter cable with differential format. I suppose to adopt a Twinax cable.

My questions are:

  1. I suppose to use an AC-coupled LVDS format to transmit the signal over the cable in order to increase the tolerance to the noise. Is this the right choice in your opinion to accommodate for this task?
  2. Is the LVDS output of the AD9523-1 able to drive the cable, or I need a sort of buffer? In case a buffer is required, could you please suggest a suitable device?
  3. Could you please suggest a suitable line termination and receiver?
