I have questions on SigmaStudio Gain/Mute modules.
There seem to be several types.
Could you tell me the deference between them below?
HW Slew, Sw Slew RC Optimized, and Sw Slew RC Accurate.
(For instance, "Multiple Volume Control" mentions as below.
Gain (slew) - The AD1940 / 1941 includes support for volume controls that use a target/slew RAM hardware to slew (smoothly transition) from one volume level value to a another.
What is the target/slew RAM hardware?
Also, "Mute" mentions as below.
HW (RCtype Slew) - The AD1940 / 1941 include support for mute controls that use a target/slew RAM hardware to slew (smoothly transition) from 0dB gain to muted.
I would like to know what the target/slew RAM hardware is.)
The difference between "optimized" and "accurate" is that they require different amount of code size depending on the slew accuracy or something???
"Gain" and "Mute" have the same characteristic on their smoothing curve?
(The way they calculate is same?)
