To Whom it May Concern,
The ADP5090/1/2 Ultralow Power Energy Harvester PMUs with MPPT and Charge Management have very good low voltage input handling capabilities, but can these devices be used in an application where the solar cell, or other energy harvesting device, has on OC voltage much higher than the device's input voltage rating of 0.08 V to 3.3 V? Also, how does the device handle a higher input voltage then it's output voltage, say 5V input to 3.3V output, and is it still an efficient solution for energy harvesting in this case?
The solar cell that I am using has an output voltage of 1.6V – 5.0V.
Thank you for any help here!
