I am giving IT BU 656 input with PAL resolution to my ADV7511 IC then what will be the resolution of DVI output from ADV7511? Can I see the video on computer DVI monitor
The ADV7511 is basically a parallel to serial converter. The output timing will be the same as the input timing. So if your monitor can display PAL, then it will work.
thanks, when I connect the 7511 output to my LED monitor with DVI- D interface, monitor goes to power save mode and come back, this happens continuously. MY DELL P2412H monitor supports 576i but it preset modes doesn't have 576i and I don't know the meaning of support 576i mode.
Is there any monitor or display with DVI -D interface directly support 576i 4:3 aspects ratio?
Also I have programmed the 0X15 register for 576i mode but when i read back the 0X3D register it is showing VIC unavailable ( i.e 00) what is the reason.
pl. guide me it is very urgent
Your LED monitor probably does not suppport 576i. Check the specs on the monitor or if you can read the EDID from the monitor, it will tell you what the monitor can support.
VIC (0x15) only matters for HDMI. It has no effect in DVI mode
monitor preset mode list 576i is not there, but, in the monitor manual it is mentioned that it will support 576i, it is a confusion. is it possible to display the 576i format through DVI port of the monitor.
can you please send the registers which is important for DVI mode and its setting. please
The ADV7511 is basically a parallel to serial converter. output timing = input timing
