Could you tell me how the "EVAL-ADAU1452MINIZ" has the vias? and how many? (as a hardware development reference information)
On the EVAL-ADAU1452MINIZ we have a 5x5 grid of 0.8mm vias with a 0.35mm drill size.
I do not know where the 7x7 pattern suggestion came from so I do not know the via size and drill size. What is important is a tight pattern of many vias. I also would not attach any grounds to this pad from the ground pins. Just let the pad sit on its own and tied to the ground plane on its own. It is tempting to just run a ground pin over to it but do not do that. Run to ground as shown in the datasheet where the bypass caps are between the pin and the vias to the power and ground planes.
