Removing Tx Components from ADRV9371x Reference Design

We have a receive-only application and are looking to conserve as many FPGA resources as possible.  Will we run into any issues with removing the components associated with the Tx path from the block design in Vivado?  For example, we're concerned that maybe the software driver will look to configure the Tx channels, see they are not there, and crash.

I noticed that the "axi_ad9371_core" has a parameter to disable the DAC path so this would seem to indicate that this is in fact acceptable.
