Frequency of the baseband signal is DC~110MHz, Sample frequency is 300MHz, LVDS interface rate of AD9122 is 600MSPS, we want to use x4 interpolation, how to set up HB filters of AD9122?
Can you confirm the following conditions are correct for your setup?
DAC Sampling Rate: 1200MSPS
Interpolation: 4x -> therefore your Data rate is 1200MSPS/4 = 300MSPS
Using word mode so the interface speed is 600MSPS
For this condition, you will need to have the DVDD18 and CVDD18 supplies be set to 1.8V with +/-2% tolerance on the supply rail.
There are different combinations of how to set up the halfband filters for the interpolation setting. There are coarse modulation options available as well with the different halfband filter modes that can be programmed. This is discussed in more detail in the Rev B datasheet starting on page 40 in the 'Determining Interpolation Filter Modes' section.
You may need to refer DVDD/CVDD requirements in table 5 and follow the start up sequence example on page 59. What's your DAC output frequency? same with DC-110MHz?
DAC update frequency is 1200MHz.
