The delay cause by SS4SH firmware

Hi,

     I use SS4SH on the 21489 EZ-board.

I found the test the delay caused by SS4SH firmware may be too long. The samplerate for project is 48kHz and the blocksize is 64. Then the project just process In0->Out0 and In1->Out1. Then I run it on the EZ-board and test that the delay time is 5.15ms. In theory, I think it must be 64/48ms=1.34ms. Why the SS4SH firmware would cause about 4ms delay?

What's more, I run the example 21489 AD1939 C Block-Based Talkthru 48 or 96kHz on the EZ-board. The samplerate for project is 48kHz and the blocksize is  64, too. However, the delay is just 1.75ms. Can you tell me why?

Best Regards,

Alex
