Dual Synthesizer In TDD

Hi. I was under the impression that Dual Synthesizer Mode meant using dedicated synthesizers for RX and TX, and disabling that mode meant using a single synthesizer alternatively routed between RX and TX in TDD. After reading some posts here, it looks like disabling Dual Synth Mode really means still using dedicated synthesizers, but powering down one of them in RX or TX. Can this be confirmed or unconfirmed? And finally, in the IIO-Oscilloscope running on ADI Linux on ZC702 NOT enabling the dual synth mode prevents the RFIC to go into TX mode in TDD. Is this a software bug? I am in pin control mode. Is there anything else needed to be set?
