I have a question of baseband synchronization. To synchronize multiple ad9361 devices, we should connect them to a common reference oscillator.
Is it a prerequisite that the phase difference between the reference clocks input to each device need to be zero?
Is it possible that one ad9361 use its internal reference clock and its clk_out pin is configured to output the buffered version of reference clock to BBP, then BBP output the reference clock to another ad9361 as its external reference clock input. In general, the reference clocks of two ad9361 devices are both generated from the internal oscillator of the first ad9361. The procedure is shown as following:
