I'm using the AD9643 dual ADC device. Does the output clock (DCO) always run when both channels are placed in either Standby Power or Power-Down Power modes?
Low power dissipation in power-down mode is achieved by shutting down the reference, reference buffer, biasing networks, and Encode Clock. Standby mode allows the user to keep the internal reference circuitry powered when faster wake-up times are required. Both of these power-saving modes disable the DCO since it is derived from the Encode Clock.
