about the AD9371 Rx SNR/Tx EVM figure in data sheet

Dear all,

 

When I was checking the AD9371 Rx and Tx EVM information, I found there are respective figures in data sheet :

 

Figure 76. --> Receiver EVM vs. Receiver Input Power

Figure 96. --> Transmitter EVM vs. RF Attenuation

 

Taking figure 76 as an example, the figure title mentioned that:

"3600MHz LO, 100MHz RF BW, LTE20M Uplink centered at DC, BTC active, 153.6MSPS..."

 

I am wondering:

a) Is this EVM (either Rx or Tx) value measured considering RF noise & non-linearity within all the 100MHz (200MHz for Tx) RF BW or just only 20MHz BW ??

  1. Can I expected that when the modulated signal occupies up to 100MHz BW, the similar EVM curve can be approached ?? or roughly the SNR need to have a scale --> SNR-10*log10(100/20) ?

b) For Figure_76 (Rx EVM), what is the RF receiver gain applied?? maximum gain ??

  1. Besides, for the Rx gain, I found in Figure_72 (Receiver gain vs. Receiver attenuation), it seems the Rx gain range is 30dB with ~[-15dB, +15dB], and the absolute max gain is only ~15dB ?? is my understanding correct ??
