I have recently been developing electric heating pad. My product is a very simple, I run 5v through a circuit to generate heat. Currently I am using a bimetallic switch that opens when temperatures exceed 45C.  I am currently looking for alternative methods that will be low cost but provide higher levels of accuracy and reliability.  I was thinking surface mounting AD22105  my heating pad and use that as a temperature controller.  A concern of mine is that it wont provide adequate output voltage/current.  I was wondering if I could get your feedback on if the  AD22105 would work for my application or perhaps you have another product/products that would help provide me with a low cost temperature controller.

Thanks,
