The ADV7611 states it supports formats up to UXGA at 8-bit. UXGA is only 1600x1200. Is this correct? Also, at what frames per second is the format supported?
As per the data sheet reference it supports up to UXGA 1600x1200 @60 HZ at 8 bit
UG-180 states in the introduction that ADV7611 supports 1080 p60@8-bit. 1080 p60 is 1920 x 1080 which is Full HD.
Can you clarify this?
The output of the ADV7611 is limited by the max pixel clock rate of 165MHz. 1080p and UXGA will be outpout at their pixel rate with 8 bits per color plane using 24 output pins. See the various pixel output formats in appendix C keeping in mind the LLC and data rate cannot exceed 165MHz.
