Audio Amplifier Input Protection from overvoltage and fast transients (ESD/EFT)

I am looking to protect the inputs of a professional line receiver SSM2143. I have selected a TVS diode array Littlefuse SP4020 series to protect the input amplifier at the XLR input jack from fast transients. I am concerned with overvoltage protection for a continuous signal above my ±5V rails. I would use some kind of Schottky clamp but am concerned how it will affect the behavior of the TVS diodes. Can anyone suggest a solution to this problem?
