Hi! I have recently purchased an ADIS16223 sensor and I am unable to extract reliable data out of it. It is without a PCB board and I have interfaced it with the computer using an ARDUINO UNO. Initially I could read off the fixed data like product ID and specifications etc., however the acceleration data that I obtained was not reliable as it read around 3g when there was no acceleration(the horizontal direction perpendicular to g). There is one more thing, any data that I read sometimes goes to 0 when I just shake the sensor softly(to see if the acceleration data is changing, but in other cases also the data readings obtained were 0). I don't know if this is a connection issue, or sensor is faulty or there is any thing that I am missing. Please help.
