Hi !

I have a question about ADV7180.

Our customer has problem with ADV7180.

This is the input pin waveform.

Only one unit have this problem.

↓OK

↓NG

I think this is not because of ADV7180.

The waveform looks wavy but only the peak voltage is wavy.

If some thing is wrong at the CLAMP circuit, I think Peak-to-Peak waveform will change

but at the waveform I attached , sync signal looks OK.

So I think this happens because of the analog input source.

I am asking to my customer to change the analog input source

and also change the AIN pin select.

At the block diagram, ADC is only one.

Is there each clamp circuit for each analog input pins?

Or the clamp circuit is only one and only MUX is in front of the clamp circuit?

Is there any possibility to happen about this?

I thought that Clamp circuit is one of the possibility but is there any other possibility,

can you give some advise to debug the system?

Best regards.

Kawa
