Can the ad7609 be used with single-ended inputs (even though it is spec'd as "differential inputs")?
If not, why?
If so, what are the ramifications?
The AD7609 is true differential input ADC. This means that the Input Vx+ and Vx- is expecting to be 180 degrees out of phase. If you are looking for a single ended 8 channel ADC, I would recommended the co-family which is also an 8 channel, the AD7608 and AD7606, an 18bit and 16 bit ADC respectively.
