I have downloaded HDL AD projects from github and am trying to build them on Ubuntu Linux (16.04.1).
So far I have been utilizing 2 ways to do that:
Start Vivado and try to source from the TCL console the ip cores one by one which returns the following error:
couldn't read file "../../scripts/adi_env.tcl": no such file or directory
(file "./spi_engine/spi_engine_interconnect/spi_engine_interconnect_ip.tcl" line 2)
Use the make functionality and "make proj.board"" eg:make fmcomms5.zc706 which is also failing returning the following logs :
make: Entering directory '/home/user/Desktop/folder/hdl-hdl_2016_r1/projects/fmcomms5/zc706'
make -C ../../../library/axi_ad9361
make: Entering directory '/home/user/Desktop/folder/hdl-hdl_2016_r1/library/axi_ad9361'
rm -rf *.cache *.data *.xpr *.log component.xml *.jou xgui .Xil
vivado -mode batch -source axi_ad9361_ip.tcl >> axi_ad9361_ip.log 2>&1
Makefile:72: recipe for target 'axi_ad9361.xpr' failed
make: *** [axi_ad9361.xpr] Error 127
make: Leaving directory '/home/user/Desktop/folder/hdl-hdl_2016_r1/library/axi_ad9361'
Makefile:70: recipe for target 'lib' failed
make: *** [lib] Error 2
make: Leaving directory '/home/user/Desktop/folder/hdl-hdl_2016_r1/projects/fmcomms5/zc706'
Makefile:28: recipe for target 'fmcomms5.zc706' failed
make: *** [fmcomms5.zc706] Error 2
Has anyone faced anything similar?
