Is it possible to use 2 different EVAL-ADUSB2Z Adapter on one Computer at the same time?
I have 2 different projects, with two different I2C communication lines.
It is not possible to use two USBi devices at once, as they will not enumerate properly. However, if you can live with having both chips on the same I2C line (with different addresses, of course), you can use a single USBi to control both. You will need a modified version of the ribbon cable that has multiple headers for connecting to multiple boards. You can either create your own by getting some ribbon cable and crimp-on connectors, or contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and I can get you details on how/where to purchase one.
On the software side, page 4 of the USBi user guide shows how multiple I2C address operation works in SigmaStudio: http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/application-notes/AN-1006.pdf
