Q: about the ADIS16445 and ADIS16265 calibration process - if the they have internal temperature compensation is there any additional calibration i will need to add?

A: The most typical things that need to be done are to align with the inertial reference frame in the system and correct for initial bias (which can drift over time).

can you please explain more about: "correct for initial bias (which can drift over time) " , do you mean that once i installed the device i need to do one time calibration process - make my gyro stationary and measure the average offset ?

when you say that the initial bias can drift - as i understand the bias can drift but the device is well calibrated, meaning - i do not need to add for example my own temperature compensation , is that right ?

best regards

Mark
