I have a development platform that makes use of the EV-ADF5355SD1Z evaluation board and connects to a PC through the USB interface on the EVAL-SDP-CS1Z. The computer has the ADF4355 software installed and configured and works properly.
I replaced the EV-ADF5355SD1Z with my own board using the same 120 pin connector to interface to the EVAL-SDP-CS1Z. The computer recognizes the EVAL-SDP-CS1Z but will not detect my daughter card (same general hardware as EV-ADF5355SD1Z.). The EV-ADF5355SD1Z has an EEPPROM (24LC32A-I/MS) and I do not know what is on it but I am suspecting it is information to determine what board is connected to the EVAL-SDP-CS1Z. The computer recognizes the EVAL-SDP-CS1Z is connected but will not detect my daughter card (same general hardware as EV-ADF5355SD1Z.).
I need to get the HEX file for the EEPROM or is there a way to get around the board detection process?
