boot process if SPI is not flashed

hi !

I have observed following behaviour:

I have new(QSPI is not flashed) own hardware based on BF607.

if I plug in a prepared SDCard with boot-ldr , the BF607 boots from the RSI interface also if I not select this BMODE via boot-pins. Is this a wanted/known behaviour of the boot process. I couldn't find this in documentation.


So is it true if there is any bootable device found on startup the dsp detect this and try to boot ?
