AD9364 FSR Calculations

Hello Everyone,

If possible I would like some help with the FSR calculation for the AD9364. My goal is to map/estimate the digital power I am receiving to a physical quantity. I have found an online tutorial that does this, but now I am having trouble retrieving the necessary information from the data sheet to complete this calculation.

According to the tutorial, FSR = (Scaling Factor * Vref)/Gain

*Vref: I keep assuming Vref to be either 3.3 [Volts] or 1.3*.3535 VRMS, am I wrong to assume either for Vref?

*Scaling Factor: I am not sure what the scaling factor is. Where should I look for this information?

*Gain: The AD9364 is being utilized on the USRP B200mini and I have specified the gain to be 76 dB through USRP Hardware Driver (UHD).

Also, if I manage to calculate the Vin, then I will use the equation P = (Vin^2)/(R)

Where R is the Z impedance ~ 100 ohms to find a rough estimated physical power.

Are there any errors in my logic?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will gladly clarify anything if needed.

Best,

Wilson
