aduc7060/1 adc max input common mode voltage? 2.5V? >=5V?
As written in the previous post - any voltage applied to any ADC input pin can only be in this limited range from 0.1V to 1.8V for a 2.5V supply.The Supply for the ADuC706x is 2.5V +/- 5%.
As outlined in the data sheet :
Absolute Input Voltage Range Applies to both VIN+ and VIN− = 0.1 to VDD − 0.7V (1.8V)
Max AVDD = 2.5V +/- 5%
So for higher input voltages you must use a attenuator, this can be through to the high input impedance of the ADC simple resistor dividers.
if adc is differential inputs . How do? (use instrumentation amplifiers ?) For example, 5V power supply resistor bridge.
I did not understand Absolute Input Voltage Range.
