I am wondering whether the DC signal can pass through this RF switch or not, because in my application the signal that will pass through the switch contains both DC and RF signal components.
On the first page of the document for HMC232ALP4E, there is a Functional Diagram shown to this product. And in this data sheet it is also written that this product is suitable for DC – 12 GHz. From both the descriptions I suppose that this product is able to pass signals with DC and RF components.
However, I become confused when I saw another description in the table Pin Descriptions on the fourth page, saying Blocking capacitors are required if RF line potential is not equal to 0V.
Would anyone help me understand this product correctly?
