I am using the UART pins (P0.6 and P0.7) of the ADuCM360 to communicate with a WiFi module.
Is there a way to use the other UART pins (P0.1 and P0.2) to snoop/spy on the serial traffic, so that it can be displayed on a serial console on PC?
The is only 1 UART peripheral on the ADuCM360 and you can't use both 0.6/0.7 at the same time as 0.1/0.2
I'm not overly familiar with the ADICUP360 schematic but you should be able either with the existing jumper connections or with wire connections to connect the FTDI RX pin to one of the UART lines to spy on the communication.
There is also another UART RX line available on the debugger chip. You could connect that to the other UART line and then on the PC you can open 2 com ports and view both lines.
Let me know if that works or if you come across any issues.
Here :EVAL-ADICUP360 Base Board [Analog Devices Wiki] you can find switches setup which are used to multiplex UART pairs on EVAL-ADICUP360 board + schematic.
