Recently, I heard that If I want to purchase HDMI Parts of Analog Devices, I(My Company) should be an HDMI adopter.
Until recently, I could purchase them regardless of HDMI adopter
Can anybody please confirm this ?
Thanks a lot.
First you refer the thread https://ez.analog.com/thread/49986#comment-175344 . This clarify your basic doubts. In that thread Dave shared some basic links at the end. Please refer that.
I am thinking like you are talking about HDCP license and becoming HDCP Adopter. I have referred you to go through the Restrictions Relating to the Distribution of HDCP-Enabled Parts.
This restrictions is applicable only for the HDMI receiver and transceiver which has HDCP Keys. I believe that you would have used transmitter or boards with out HDCP Keys (P Parts) earlier, so this restrictions might not have applied earlier.
Thanks for your reply. But I know the rule of HDCP license.
I want to know the HDMI adaptoer, not HDCP license.
If possible, Can I have your email address to send detail status ?
Had the policy changed recently? Is HDMI adopters license now required to use any HDMI parts?
