Just had a query for CEC_CLOCK in all HDMI trasmitters which is fed by an oscillator of 12 MHz.
1) Being a board designer I am unable to get how it is used by the Chip lets say ADV7511. Functionality (used for generating HDMI data or CEC data, or by PLL's inside IC)
2) Also how much is the ppm variation in clock that is acceptable for this inside the chip.(No where I get this detail) - Lets say if I am selecting an oscillator.(12 MHz , ppm variation = max??) 50 ppm / 100 ppm or what ??
3) And lastly CEC line is bidirectional line without any clock , How does an HDMI sink device receive the data on CEC line without any clock going along with it.....is the clock embedded or how does Sink device synchronize with the Source.
Lets say I change freq of osc of from 12 MHZ to say 24 MHz., How is sink detecting the same??
