What is the function of the new alarm scheme of ADN2872 ?

ADN2872 is derived from ADN2870.
Please compare the table 5 and table 6 of ADN2872 datasheet to the table 5 and table 6 of ADN2870 datasheet, you would find out what alarm changes been made from ADN2870 to ADN2872.
In general, an alarm signal is composed of static and dynamic portions. We observed that when ADN2870 worked with some laser diodes in LDD initiation process, the ADN2870 might see very large dynamic alarm response that triggered LDD FAIL. In fact, after settled down the dynamic response, the static alarm level was much lower than the preset alarm threshold levels. This behavior had blocked some good laser diodes to work with ADN2870.
With some alarms changes, ADN2872 could adopt more good laser diodes to work with, if not all, while maintain ADN2872 working in a safe range, protected by the new preset alarm thresholds.
