When the ADV7611 is not powered is the CEC pin high impedance or does it 'load' the CEC line?
As per the HDMI specifications, a device with power removed shall not degrade communication between other CEC devices (E.g the line shall not be pulled down by the powered off device)
Whether this helps you?
So is it OK to connect the ADV7611 directly to the CEC line?
The HDMI specification has strict limits on the amount of leakage allowed on the CEC line by sink devices. In order to meet this specification I advise that you place a Schottky diode and 27 kOhm pull up resistor to 3.3V on the CEC line of your board. See diagram below and ADV7611 recommended schematic.
I also advise placing ESD protection on the CEC line. See ADV7611 recommended schematic.

We are planning to implement HDMI receiver port on our system using ADV7611. Can any one advice whether I can use ISC port of SAMA5D series processor to interface the RGB output lines of ADV7611?
This looks like a separate question. Could you please create a new discussion in the video section of Engineering Zone.
thanks and regards,
Thank you - that is clear now.
