In Sigmastudio, in the drop down that lists the sampling frequencies, I see 48k, 96k and 192k but only 44100 and not 88.2k and 176.4k.
Is it possible to develop a project with sampling rate set to 88.2k?
Yes, it is possible.
The global sampling rate setting that is at the top of the window is only a tool to quickly set ALL of the cells in a design to the same sampling rate. That is if you choose to click "yes" on the dialog box.
However, what is important is the setting that is actually inside the cells. Cells that are sources will have a menu selection to set the sample rate. So you select the input cell, right click and you will see "Set Sampling Rate" as a choice. The resulting window allows you to set any rate so you can enter 82000 as the sampling rate.
Now you need to understand the behavior of this feature. Clicking on the input cell and changing the rate will change the rate in every cell associated with that signal flow in the schematic. It will not change all the cells. You will have to click on each cell that is a source, like an oscillator or input cell, and change it there as well.
Then you do not want to use the global pull-down selection at the top because it will overwrite ALL the cells again.
