I've added 5kohm on 24V loop power for testing impedance curve.(24V supply -> 5kohm -> DUT loop+)
At this time,
- around 3.75mA current is measured at loop+
- When I test the loads with power supply 3.3V, 2.8mA is measured for MCU + AD5700(MCU and AD5700 are powered from REGOUT(3.3V))
* Disconnected from the REGOUT power to loads(AD5700 and MCU), and then supplied power from the power supply 3.3V.
- When I test the loads with power supply 3.3V, MCU consumes 1.88mA
Q1. Is there any solution to reduce current?
Q2. As I attached, REGOUT(3.3V) and LOOP+ power is dropping when Board is powered continueously.
Look like RESET IC is reseting MCU when REGOUT dropped to 3.0V. At this time, LOOP+ power is dropped to 5V.
How much current can be drown by REGOUT?
