For the output power of the DDS(AD9910/9914), can we control it by the step of 0.1dB? How to achieve it?
Both the AD9910 and AD9914 provide digital control of the output level. Level adjustment is via a 14-bit (12-bit) output scale factor for the AD9910 (AD9914).
Step size in dB depends on the value of the scale factor. With the scale factor set at maximum, changing it by 1-bit yields an output level step of 0.0005 dB (0.002 dB) for the AD9910 (AD9914). With the scale factor at 1/10th of maximum, changing the scale by 1-bit yields 0.005 dB (0.02 dB) for the AD9910 and (AD9914).
Well within your 0.1 dB requirement in either case.
