If I apply SPI with 3.3V LE (pull-high) to ADF5355 before ADF5355 is biased (VDdd=0V for now), does it violate the Absolute Maximum Ratings to Digital Input/Output Voltage to GND of -0.3V to DVdd+0.3V?
No, applying 3.3Vdc to LE before the ADF5355 is biased (DVDD =0Vdc for now), should NOT violate the Absolute Maximum Ratings as shown in the AMR table (Digital Input/Output Voltage to GND of -0.3V to DVdd+0.3V).
In my design, ADF5355 shares the SPI bus with others components, like SPI GPIO expander, etc. Sometimes when ADF5355 is powered off, the SPI MOSI and CLK are still alive with 0 to 3.3V swing for other components. In addition, the LE of ADF5355 is pull-high. The digital part of the ADF5355 and SPI stuff are new to me. This time I had difficulties in understanding the Absolute Maximum Ratings table of ADF5355.
