Problems caused by multiple OffchipDelay modules.

Hi,

 

There are some questions about the "OffchipDelay" module. My tests are as follows.

 

1. My target is ADSP-21489-EZBOARD.

    The SS4S app is the adi default ss_app_sh489.ldr. Current mode is 4 analog in, 8 analog out and TDM.

    The module is the adi default "Off chip Delay (Extern Port)" in SharcAudioToolBox.dll.

 

2. The audio path is “Signal I/P” to “Output”. The system delay is 3.85ms.

     If Selcet the Master Bypass, the system delay is also 3.85ms.

 

3. I add a module “Off chip Delay (Extern Port)” .  Reset target, boot ss_app_sh489.ldr, link compile download SSn.

   The system delay is 3.85ms now.

4. I add the 2nd module “Off chip Delay (Extern Port)” .  Reset target, boot ss_app_sh489.ldr, link compile download SSn.

   The system delay is 3.85ms now.

5. Continuously add a module until 50.  Reset target, boot ss_app_sh489.ldr, link compile download SSn. These modules’s delay buffer address is 10ms(480 samples) offset.

 

The system delays are displayed in the form.

6. This problem will affect the SSn design. So we need to solve it.
