I have a certain FSK application where one channel receives a pulsed sinusoidal (single tone) waveform of 4 µs duration at random frequency in the range 100-200 MHz. This pulse is repeated at rates of 2 ms.
I would like to generate a waveform locked to the random single tone and achieved within the 4 µs of the pulse ON duration, and keeps running at this locked frequency for the rest of the 2 ms period even though the pulse is OFF.
Which one exactly of the AD IC's/modules can support such mode of operation and at such speeds? BTW, is this mode the one designated as 'Holdover Mode' in PLL/Synth terminology?
