We have a capture board based on the ADV7619 receiver and are experiencing problems capturing data when using certain sources. We've seen problems in 1080p as well as 720p mode. When we examine the output port of the ADV7619, we note different types of behaviors:
- The DE pulse (as well as the HS pulse) is not generated for a line, resulting in a line effectively twice as long as expected.
- The line data (as defined by the DE signal) is longer than expected (indicating more pixels were transferred than expected) on a given line.
(Note: Both phenomena may well be related)
We have reproduced the same behavior on an EVAL-ADV7619-7511 platform, and I have attached the following waveforms to illustrate the behaviors described above:

In this image, it is clear that there is an absence of HS and DE pulses during the expected interval.

In the 2nd image, the DE signal is active for 12.98 uS (the expected width, which is measured on "good" lines, is 12.929 uS). There are approximately 7 additional pixels transmitted during the DE active time.
The probed signals in these images are at the output of the ADV7619 on the EVAL-ADV7619-7511 kit.
The source used is an EWEAT EW802 Quad Core Android player configured in 1080p mode. We have seen similar behavior using different Android players. I've also provided some logging information from the terminal session on the EVAL board:

Can you provide any guidance/assistance to help us determine the cause of these issues? The result at the output depends on the platform: On the ADV7619-7511 the monitor screen "jumps" periodically (probably when these errors occur); On our capture card a gradual horizontal and/or vertical shift of the pixel data occurs, as additional pixels and/or lines are added/removed from the source (the data are sent to an FPGA for processing).
