ADIS16448 Gyro scale

Hi Folks,


We're in the process of replacing an ADIS16488 with an ADIS16448 in some less demanding applications within our product. We've have just finished modifying the hardware interface and hardware-specific code to interface the IMU and things are working well.


However we notice what looks like a rather large gyro scaling error, integrating the gyros over a 90° turns yields a repeatable ~8° of error. Is this normal behaviour and should we plan to calibrate the gyro scaling on each IMUs, or should we be looking for an issue within our software, configuration or such?
