Standalone mode

Hello everybody,

I'm a brand new developer of Analog DSPs and I'm studying the documents.

We own the EZLiteKit board with the ADSP21489 chip.

I followed some examples using the SigmaStudio but now my question is:

how can i change my (simple) project to move toward a 'standalone mode' (no SPI communication) of the board?

I suppose the SSn and parameters will move to the Flash memory but how can i achieve that?

Do I need an external chip to boot from Flash memory?

PS: is it possible to build a 'standalone' module by the SigmaStudio or do I absolutely need the VisualDSP++ tool???
